The Commission of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the publication of their book, Designing the Nation's Capital: The 1901 Plan for Washington, D.C. Edited by Sue Kohler, the Commission's historian, and Pamela Scott, an independent scholar and author, Designing the Nation's Capital is a collection of essays concerning the genesis, formulation and implementation of the Plan of 1901, often called the McMillan Plan.
