RECOMMENDATION: Property is owned and managed by the District of Columbia Office of Property Management and will be reviewed as a direct submission. See Commission Agenda for 16 April 2009, case number CFA 16/APR/09-8 for recommended action.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for new 5'-0" tall metal fence with brick piers in public space along portions of Military Road, NW and 27th Street, NW, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2009 and supplemental materials received and dated 8 April 2009. Note: Because the application is pending final zoning and structural review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for replacement awnings and awning-mounted signage, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2009. Recommend AGAINST application of obscuring film to windows. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval. Refer to Historic Preservation Review Board.

RECOMMENDATION: Project does not fall within the boundaries of the Shipstead-Luce Act or Old Georgetown Act and is not owned by the federal or District government; thus it is not subject to review by the Commission of Fine Arts. Returned with no action taken.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for new garage with concealed rooftop mechanical units, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2009. RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for the enclosure of a basement-level storage area and other minor exterior modifications, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2009 and supplemental materials received and dated 14 April 2009.
