RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for new storefront and doors in existing openings, new sidewalk cafe railing, and other minor exterior modifications, as shown in materials received and dated 6 February 2009 and supplemental materials received and dated 11 February 2009. Note: Because the application is pending final zoning and structural review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval. RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for exterior modifications to two rear bays, including new patio doors with sidelights, replacement windows, new cladding, and other minor modifications, as shown in materials received and dated 6 February 2009 and supplemental materials received and dated 28 January 2009. RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for three building identification plaques; one blade parking sign to replace an existing blade parking sign; and three new cantilevered 'W' signs, one of which replaces the center flag above the 15th Street canopy, as shown in supplemental materials received and dated 11 February 2009. Recommend that the two flags not replaced by signs remain the United States and District of Columbia flags, subject to the requirements of the United States Flag Code. Recommend that the location of the F Street building identification plaque be determined on site by the architect.
