RECOMMENDATION: The Commission regrets that projecting sing and light fixtures were installed prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for two proposed replacement lights above existing pin-mounted sign provided exposed conduit and entrance spot lights are removed as shown in supplemental specification and information dated 18 June 2009. Existing projecting sign and bracket were not approved, were deleted from this permit application, and must be removed no later than 31 October 2009. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.

Sign scheme to be reconsidered when restoration of front facade to original condition is pursued. Note is made that work at one-story rear wing is in prO.G.ress prior to review and without permit, and that work on front building does not conform to approved design (see case O.G. 09-075).
