Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for existing plate glass picture window. Recommend window be replaced with a single glazed wood window with true-divided-lite muntins to match original condition. Submitted materials are insufficient for permit review. Existing location of light fixture and new electrical outlet were not approved and must be corrected prior to 31 December 2009. Recommend removal of shutters at first floor. New wood shutters at second floor windows must be operable with accurate hardware and sized to cover windows when closed. No objection to issuance of permit for existing storm door and hose bib installed prior to review. File new submission of working drawings, including details and dimensions, with permit application for revised design for picture window and for second floor replacement windows for review by the Commission no later than the 12 November 2009 deadline for the meeting of 3 December 2009.

New wood storm door must match adjacent storm door. Recommend finding the most efficient and smallest equipment for roof exhaust vents to be located as far from the alley as possible.
