RECOMMENDATION: The Commission regrets that the alterations, shed and fences were completed prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for existing concrete curb and fence at 1305 Potomac Street provided finial balls are removed, top of fence is flat and it is painted to match the color of the wall. No objection to issuance of permit for existing shed and fence at 1313 Potomac Street provided ball finials and fence caps are removed, top of fence is flat, metal door is replaced with a wood gate to match fence, and gate at sidewalk is modified with wood solid panels around decorative metal insert to create a squared top, as shown in supplemental information dated 27 January 2014. Corrective work must be completed no later than 31 May 2014. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re–submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
