U. S. Commission of Fine Arts Schedule of Meetings
* Note for Shipstead–Luce Act submissions: Applications must be filed by close of business on the day of the submission deadline at D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA), Permit Processing Division (1100 4th Street, SW, Second floor). DCRA will forward the applications and submission materials to the Commission of Fine Arts. After the Commission meeting, permit applications and recommendations for non–historic properties will be returned to DCRA, and for properties with an historic designation, applications and recommendations are forwarded to the DC Historic Preservation Office for their review and processing, and then sent back to DCRA. Once a permit application is returned to DCRA and made available, the applicant must continue through the remainder of the D.C. Government building permit process. Submissions for Federal and District of Columbia Government projects must be delivered to the Commission of Fine Arts office (Suite 312, 401 F Street, N.W.) before 5:00 P.M. on the day of the submission deadline.
