The Commission Publishes a New Book

The Commission of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the publication of their book, Designing the Nation's Capital: The 1901 Plan for Washington, D.C. Edited by Sue Kohler, the Commission's historian, and Pamela Scott, an independent scholar and author, Designing the Nation's Capital is a collection of essays concerning the genesis, formulation and implementation of the Plan of 1901, often called the McMillan Plan.

Designing the Nation's Capital is available through the University of Massachusetts Press.
