Submission Requirements for Old Georgetown Act Permit Review
Submit the following at the District Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) Permit Service Center (1100 4th Street, SW, 2nd floor, 202 442-4589) no later than three weeks prior to the scheduled Old Georgetown Board meeting. The DCRA Permit Service Center will assign a case number and forward the complete submission file to the Commission of Fine Arts and its Old Georgetown Board. A complete Permit Review submission includes:
Permit Application (available at DCRA). Information must be complete and legible. (Include area and zip codes.) The applicants listed as owner and agent will receive copies of Commission recommendation upon completion of the review process.
Comprehensive Photographs of the property (two sets), including the area of proposed work, views from the street and the public alley (if applicable), and contextual photos with adjacent structures clearly identified. Photos can be of any size and format, except Polaroid shots, which do not meet archival requirements. If project had previous concept review, photos are on record, and no additional photos are needed unless otherwise requested by the staff.

After the submission from the District government is received by the Commission, the applicant may be asked to submit reduced drawings in an 11 x 17 inch format (6 copies) no later than 10 days prior to the Old Georgetown Board Meeting. These copies will be circulated to the Old Georgetown Board members in preparation for the meeting.
