It is understood that the temporary facility will be in use for two years after its completion and after this period the structure will be removed and the site restored.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the proposed new retaining wall, 222 feet in length with a maximum height of 15.5 feet, that will be constructed in association with a new below–grade Poplar Point Junction Shaft and the new Poplar Point Pumping Station, as shown in materials received and dated 2 April 2013. This new wall will be constructed to accommodate the future road reconfigurations of South Capitol Street and the Anacostia Freeway.
