Dear Ms. Jumper:

The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final construction documents for a new student center at the Van Ness Campus of the University of the District of Columbia. The staff has no objections to the final construction documents for this project provided that the design for exterior identification and tenant signs be submitted separately at a later date and that it is strongly suggested that an exterior materials sample panel be erected on site to confirm color selections of the building's exterior materials.

With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 17 November 2011, we approve the final plans for the new student center project, as documented in the materials received and dated 27 December 2012. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
