RECOMMENDATION: No objection to issuance of permit for proposed sign composed of letters no taller than 7 ½ inches reading "Little Penguin" as shown in supplemental drawings dated 2 January 2013 which indicate letters attached to wood sign panel PROVIDED sign brackets on M Street, which were not approved, are removed prior to the installation of new sign. Applicant removed existing sign on 30th Street and blade signs on M Street, which were not approved. No objection to painting the wood storefront the "Paramount" color. Recommend that existing exposed electric conduits on facade of this individually designated historic landmark are removed prior to installation of sign. Note that the Foundation for the Preservation of Historic Georgetown holds an easement on this property.
