Dear Mr. Carlstrom:
During its meeting of 18 March, the Commission reviewed and approved the proposed concept for the American Veterans' Disabled for Life Memorial located at Washington Avenue, 2nd and C Streets. As the design process continues, all of the existing elements should be simplified and better integrated to create a more cohesive design. In addition, potential maintenance and physical access issues should be addressed with regard to the site and the proposed design.
The Commission looks forward to the further review of this project in the near future.
