Dear Ms. Glover:

The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final design submission from the D.C. Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development for improvements to the Chevy Chase Playground and Recreation Center at 4101 Livingston Road, NW. This project includes a new addition to and the modernization of the existing building, and improvements to the playground. The staff has no objections to the final plans for this project as it conforms to the previously approved concept design.

With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 19 November 2009, we approve the final design submission for this project as documented in the drawings and materials received and dated 6 December 2010. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submission.
