Recommendation
Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit or Public Space permit for removal of brick on sidewalk to create an in-ground flower bed which is inappropriate in this location. The character of the front facade touching down onto the brick sidewalk should be retained as presently exists which is more historically accurate. Recommend use of movable container planters to achieve the owner's intent.
