Recommendation
The Commission regrets that work was completed different than previously approved under case OG 06-074. No objection to issuance of permit for alterations to rear, including one-story third floor addition with option of painted stucco finish, one-story first floor addition with bay window, and work to reconstruct original segmental arches and close up window openings which were not appropriate to the historic building, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 8 November 2007 which indicate rear windows and doors with single lites and no muntin divisions. Recommend all openings on rear facade be made consistent. Bow window on side of first floor addition was NOT approved, was deleted from the permit drawings; and must be removed and replaced with two double-hung windows. Note: Because the application is pending final zoning review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval.
