The Commission regrets that work was completed prior to review and without a permit. Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for concrete steps at rear on public space facing Poplar lane, which, as built, are inappropriate to the historic district. File new submission of detailed drawings for brick steps, with new permit application for review by the Commission when ready. Existing steps must be removed no later than 31 December 2008.
