No objection to issuance of permit for proposed removal of aluminum siding on front facades of historic buildings. Existing original wood siding will be evaluated, once exposed, for repair or replacement if needed, which must be kept to a minimum. File separate submission if findings reveal that most of the original siding is damaged-beyond-repair and needs full replacement for review by the Commission. File a separate submission for replacement of door surround and window casing with historically appropriate accurate design to match details of original for review by the Commission. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
