Recommendation
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed four-story rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 18 September 2012 which indicate wood windows with 1 3/4 in muntins and half-screens, and an internal drain at the curtain wall entrance. Erect a material sample panel on site facing south for review by the Old Georgetown Board prior to ordering materials. Note that the Foundation for the Preservation of Historic Georgetown holds an easement on this property. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit. File separate submission of working drawings, including dimensions and details, with permit application for repair and restoration work on the landmark building in the front of the property for review by the Commission.
