Recommend AGAINST the issuance of permit for proposed signs, lighting and canopies as shown in drawings received and dated 7 April 2006 for lack of information. No objection in concept to new canopies. Submit additional information about signs including measured drawings, materials and details of method of connection to proposed structure. File revised submission with permit application for review by the Commission when ready. Signs for other businesses in the building must be submitted for review under separate permit. Recommend applicant contact Historic Preservation Office and National Capital Planning Commission for review.
