No objection to the issuance of permit for canvas awnings with 6 inch alternating blue and natural colored stripes and solid blue colored valances, some with white lettering, on the windows on the first two floors of the Pennsylvania Avenue facade and on the lower windows of the 14th Street facade, as shown in materials received and dated 7 July 2008. Design conforms to previously approved concept design (see case number SL 08-095). Note: Because the application is pending final zoning review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval. Refer to the Historic Preservation Review Board.
