Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 18 October 2012

No objection to the final design for the installation of a temporary handicap ramp at the south entrance of the Main Department of the Interior Building, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012. It is understood that this temporary ramp will be removed once a permanent handicap lift is reviewed, approved, and installed as a component of the current building interior renovation project.

No objection to the proposed modification contained in the amendment to the 35% design submission for the Lumber Shed (Building 173) that adds an vestibule at the north lobby entrance with double entry doors and an interior enclosed walkway bridge on the second floor at the south end of the building, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012.

No objection to the final plans for modifications within the Embassy's front plaza to enlarge the paved surface, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012.

No objection to the installation of the proposed smoking shelter, sized 10 feet by 5 feet, on the south side of the Federal Office Building, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012.

No objection to the concept design for the for the addition of two new entrance canopies to the Memorial Chapel, Joint Base Fort Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012.

No objection to the proposed final plan to adjust the alignment of the perimeter security barrier fence near the corner of 4th and E Streets to avoid obstructing a DC Water vault, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2012. Recommend a similar adjustment on the north side of the intersection for the future installation of the perimeter security barrier fence.

No objection to the proposed concept design for either the the maximum or minimum scheme, with differing levels of alterations, as shown in materials received and dated 3 October 2012. Both schemes include new building systems and finish upgrades, replacement windows and doors, site improvements, and a new parking lot.
