Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 15 September 2011

No objection to the final design for the proposed building and landscape alterations to relocate and enlarge the northeast egress doorway and to enlarge its exterior egress pathway from the H. Carl Moultrie I Courthouse, as shown in materials received and dated 26 August 2011.

No objection to the replacement fence and security barrier around the Pentagon Heating Plant compound, as shown in materials received and dated 2 September 2011. Design details of new fence and security barrier conform to previously approved installations at the Pentagon complex.

No objection to the temporary installation of an equipment enclosure (prefabricated metal shed-type structure) around the previously approved temporary emergency boilers (see previous submission), as shown in materials received and dated 2 September 2011.

No objection to the proposed substitution of a decorative metal railing, as shown in materials received and dated 12 August 2011, to replace the previously approved pipe-rail safety railing (see case CFA 18/OCT/07-b). Design of the decorative metal railing is similar in detailing to that of the approved Arboretum perimeter fence.

No objection to the final design for a replacement cover for the areaway at the front of the WMATA headquarters building, as shown in materials received and dated 19 August 2011.

No objection to the proposed addition to the top of the existing fence on the north and east sides of the Israel Embassy compound, as shown in materials received and dated 1 September 2011.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of 5 new electric generators on various sites throughout Fort McNair in Washington, DC, as shown in materials received and dated 4 August 2011. It is understood that the installation of screen walls around the new equipment will be submitted as a separate project in FY 2012.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of 11 new and 4 replacement electrical generators on various sites throughout Joint Base Fort Myer- Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia, as shown in materials received and dated 4 August 2011. It is understood that the installation of screen walls around the new equipment will be submitted as a separate project in FY 2012. Refer to Virginia State Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final plans for the installation a landscaped plaza as an outdoor public area at the south end of Marshall Hall on Fort McNair in Washington, DC, as shown in materials received and dated 2 September 2011.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of an enclosure for the existing boiler equipment at the Rader Health and Dental Clinic (Building 525) at Joint Base Fort Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia, as shown in materials received and dated 2 September 2011.

No objection to the final plans for the replacement doors and glazing of the first floor of the rotunda, as shown in materials received and dated 8 August 2011.

No objection to the installation of two temporary modular classroom units (trailers) on the existing parking lot of Key Elementary School, as shown in materials received and dated 10 August 2011 and 30 August 2011.

No objection to the final plans for the temporary installation of modular classroom units (trailers), covered walkways, stairs, ramps, and utilities as shown in materials received and dated 12 August 2011.

No objection to the concept design for a one-story classroom addition above the existing cafeteria wing, as shown in materials received and dated 26 August 2011. Design conforms to previously approved submission for the building renovation and other exterior modifications.

No objection to the proposed final plans for building alterations to windows and doors for restaurant tenant including new signs, as shown in materials received and dated 25 August 2011.

No objection to the final plans for the expansion of the loading dock for the US Army Band Building (Building #400), Joint Base Fort Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia, as shown in materials received and dated 2 September 2011.
