No objection to issuance of permit for two signs composed of non-illuminated brushed aluminum letters reading "TTR/Sotheby's International Realty" mounted to the fascia above the windows facing on P and 26 Streets, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 24 February and 6 March 2014. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.

The Commission regrets that the windows on rear facade were replaced prior to review or permit. Existing replacement windows are not compatible with the character of the historic district. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed replacement of windows on rear elevation with Pella Architect Series 1/1 all wood windows with half screens as shown in Option A on supplemental drawings dated 20 February 2014. Replacement windows must be completed no later than 31 July 2014. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.

Returned without Action. The concept application for an outdoor seating terrace and alterations was withdrawn at the written request of applicant.

No objection to general concept design of two new dormers at south provided one aligns with center of polygonal bay and one aligns with centerline of third story window. File new submission at DCRA of construction drawings for with permit application for review by the Commission.

No objection to new lights to illuminate sign and logo. No objection to logo decal on window facing alley. Decals on entry doors were not approved and were deleted from this permit application.

No objection to issuance of permit for widened curb cut at service entrance and new chain link gate with counterbalance per drawings dated 18 February 2014. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed partial demolition, alterations and roof top addition to the Georgetown Theater, for alterations and addition to garage structure at rear with a connecting loggia, and for alterations to rear yard as shown in supplemental drawings dated 7 April 2014 which indicate that historic chimney will remain, third floor windows at rear of theater will have a raised sill, wood windows will not have screens, light fixtures will be no taller than 12 inches high, skylights will be flat and historic neon sign will be repaired and painted black. Parking pad in courtyard, which was not approved, is deleted from this permit application. Report to the Old Georgetown Board with any findings made during renovation of canopy and removal of stucco from the facade that may require revisions to the approved design. Erect materials sample panel on site for review by the Commission prior to ordering materials.
