No objection to issuance of permit for the replacement of the aluminum picture window on storefront with a 6-light all-wood window as shown in supplemental drawings dated 26 November 2012 which indicate 3/2 configuration with true-divided-lite muntins 1 11/16 inches wide and retention of original wood sill and brick mould. Options for alterations to the masonry opening, for a picture glass window and for 2/3 lights were not appropriate to the character of the historic building, were not approved and were deleted from this permit application. Replacement window to be completed no later than 31 March 2013. No objection to issuance of permit for existing sign composed of aluminum panel with cut-out letters reading 'Market Street Diamonds' PROVIDED illumination and power source are removed no later than 31 January 2013. Recommend replacement of 6/6 windows on second floor with historically appropriate 2/2 all-wood windows. File new submission of detailed and dimensioned drawings for second floor 2/2 windows with permit application for review by the Commission.
