CFA's Response to the Coronavirus

Due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) public health emergency, the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts has made several changes to its meeting schedule and project submission procedures. The Commission is continuing to review projects via virtual meeting, with staff remaining on duty through telework and intermittent office hours. Public Meetings
Old Georgetown Board
4 June 2020 Meeting — The public meeting of the Old Georgetown Board scheduled for June will be held virtually. For reasons of security, applicants and members of the public are required to register for the meeting here. A link to the meeting will be provided via email once registration is complete. We recommend registering in advance, although it will be possible to register during the meeting as well. 

2 July 2020 Meeting — It is anticipated that the public meeting of the Old Georgetown Board scheduled for July will be held virtually. A registration link to the virtual public meeting will be posted here when available.

Commission of Fine Arts
18 June & 16 July 2020 Meetings — It is anticipated that the public meetings of the Commission scheduled for June and July will be held virtually. A registration link to the virtual public meetings will be posted here when available.

Project Submission Procedures
Government (federal and District of Columbia)
Government submissions will only be accepted through the online submission portal on the CFA website. (Note: this portal is only for government submissions.) Click here for information on how to submit Government projects for concept and permit review.

Shipstead-Luce Act
All submissions will be accepted digitally. Please note that Shipstead-Luce Act submissions are referred to CFA from the District of Columbia; CFA does not accept Shipstead-Luce Act submissions directly from applicants. Click here for information on how to submit Shipstead-Luce Act projects for concept and permit review.

Old Georgetown Act
