Dear Mr. Sebastian:
During its last meeting of 15 September, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and unanimously approved the concept design for a new bicycle transit center to be located on the west side of Union Station. The Commission members commended the project team for its excellent design and consider the project to be an exciting addition to the urban fabric. As the project develops, they recommended that the structural system should be refined to maximize transparency of the building skin.
The Commission looks forward to seeing further development of the project. As always, the Commission staff is available should you require further guidance.
