Letter

Dear Mr. Hanlon:

The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final construction documents for the renovation of the historic Jesse Reno School building (also known as the Reno Rose School), located at 4820 Howard Street, NW, and a new addition to the Reno School building that connects to the Alice Deal Middle School complex. The staff has no objections to the final construction documents for the project as submitted.

With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 19 January 2012, we approve the final plans for the Jesse Reno school building and addition, as documented in the materials received and dated 10 January 2014. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.

Sincerely,

/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
