No objection to concept design for alterations, per supplemental materials received 15 March 2024, including changes to the storefronts and materials along Thomas Jefferson, fenestration changes along K Street, enclosure of a section of the southern interior courtyard, and a rooftop addition, PROVIDED the interior seating area in front of the chimneys at the rooftop addition is removed from the design, allowing the chimneys to visually connect with the terrace floor, overall lighting is carefully considered, paving at interior courtyards is further studied, and detailed documentation is included for interior courtyard existing conditions. File design-development submission at DOB with detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Commission.
