Recommendation
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations, including replacement front door with a four panel wood door, new operable wood shutters sized to cover the window when closed, replacement 6/6 rear windows sized to fit masonry opening, replacement rear door and new French doors with sidelights at basement, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 11 June 2014 which indicate retention and repair of historic 2/2 wood windows on front facade and insulated all–wood windows and French doors with simulated divided lite muntins at rear. Replacement of the front windows was not approved and was deleted from this permit application. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re–submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
