No objection to issuance of permit application for the in-kind replacement of siding that will match the reveal and profile of the existing, wood repairs, and repainting, per supplemental materials received _ May 2026, PROVIDED the applicant includes an existing and proposed wall plan to confirm the installation of insulation, sheathing, and barriers would not increase the wall thickness; The applicant completes a Wärme Und Feuchte Instationär (WUFI) evaluation of the proposed wall assembly; the applicant documents the existing conditions for the trim on the door and window on the north elevation and includes plans for their replacement; and if any siding is to replaced at the adjoining 1406 28th Street NW it must first be reviewed by the OGB/CFA. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
