Dear Mr. McGill:
During its last meeting of 15 September, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the final plans for the reconstruction of the plaza fronting the Department of Education Building (FOB #6) at 400 Maryland Avenue, SW. The Commission members look forward to seeing the construction of these improvements and upgrades to what has become a neglected public space. It should prove to be a much more inviting entrance to the headquarters of the Department of Education.
As always, the Commission staff is available should you require additional guidance.
