During its meeting of 17 June 2004, the Commission reviewed and approved the concept for the National Defense University physical fitness facility located at Fort McNair. The Commission appreciates the responsiveness of the designers based on comments from the previous review and believes the design to be greatly improved. For the final review, please submit a more detailed landscape plan, with additional planting and trees where possible, and exterior material samples in addition to construction documents.
The Commission looks forward to further review as the project progresses. As always, the staff is available should you require assistance.
