In its meeting of 17 March, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the concept design for the replacement building of Dunbar Senior High School at First and N Streets, NW. The Commission members expressed appreciation for the logic and careful study of the proposed organization of the building and site; they noted that the presentation demonstrated the design team's understanding of the interrelated design issues and expressed confidence that any outstanding issues would be satisfactorily resolved as the design is developed.
The Commission looks forward to review of the final design. As always, the staff is available to assist you with the next submission.
