Recommendation
No objection to the temporary installation of safety and security chain-link fences at the entrances to Piers 1 through 4 on the Anacostia River Walk, as shown in materials received and dated 3 March 2011. It is understood that the fences will be removed from Piers 1 and 2 within one year and a design for permanent enclosures will be submitted for review in the near future; and that the fences will be removed from Piers 3 and 4 once those piers are demolished.
