Dear Mr. Ryder:
In its public meeting of 18 June conducted by videoconference, with the advice of its subcommittee on submissions from the United States Mint, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed alternative designs for a bronze medal honoring President Trump and provided the following recommendations.
Consistent with the preferences of the White House liaison, the Commission recommended obverse #1 and reverse #10. The Commission commented that the portrait used in obverses #2, 3, and 4 is also a good likeness of the president, and that reverse #10 is a well-composed image of the White House.
