Letter

Dear Ms. Wright:

The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final plans for the replacement of the existing restaurant addition in the courtyard of the historic General Post Office/Tariff Commission Building with a larger structure for the Post Brasserie and Hotel Monaco. The staff has no objections to the final plans for this project. It is understood that any new signs associated with this project will be submitted separately in the near future.

With the authority delegated by the Commission in its action on the January 2016 Consent Calendar, we approve the final plans for the new replacement courtyard addition, as documented in the materials received and dated 4 February 2016. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.

Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
