Dear Mr. Gittens:

In the last meeting of 19 January, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the concept for "The Dragon Gate" sculpture by Andrew T. Crawford to be located between 602 and 604 H Street, NW. The Commission strongly supports the use of color in the sculpture and recommends using a high quality enamel finish for the beauty and longevity of the piece.

Please submit the project with the permit application for final review when ready. As always, the Commission staff is available should you require further assistance.
