Recommendation
No objection to the final design for the installation of temporary facilities for public use while the Thomas Jefferson Memorial undergoes rehabilitation of its lower-level interior spaces. The temporary facilities include an accessible route to the memorial chamber level, and modular buildings incorporating a bookstore and restrooms, as shown in materials received and dated 6 May 2021. The temporary facilities will be removed upon completion of the rehabilitation project in fall 2023. See case number CFA 18/APR/19-2 for the previous approval of the memorial rehabilitation project.
