No objection to the concept design for a new bridge to replace the existing H Street Bridge over the rail tracks north of Union Station, as shown in materials received and dated 6 October 2021. The phased project would reconstruct the existing H Street Bridge (Hopscotch Bridge), which was constructed in 1977 and spans 1,442 feet over 1st and 2nd Streets, NE, and the WMATA and Amtrak rail line tracks and platforms.
