Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for existing Victorian front door which is inappropriate to this Federal/Georgian house and was replaced prior to review and without a permit. Recommend new 6 panel wood front door to match original be installed no later than 30 June 2004. See photograph. Note is made that the Foundation for the Preservation of Historic Georgetown holds an easement on this property.
