The Commission regrets that signs were installed prior to review or permit. Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for existing sign scheme for 'Bodega', which includes numerous signs, and combined with railing and light fixtures on facade, are not appropriate to this historic building. Signs, logos, projecting sign; railing above projecting storefront; and all light fixtures, including gooseneck fixtures, must be removed no later than 30 June 2009 and prior to the review of a revised sign scheme for the storefront. File new submission of detailed drawings, including dimensions, with permit application for review by the Commission when ready.
