The Commission regrets that construction of pergola was initiated prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed pergola PROVIDED a railing with traditional detailing is installed rather than the one proposed, the exposed CMU be parged, and the complete structure painted. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed 7-ft high replacement vertical board wood fence as shown on Type 'A' of supplemental drawings dated 1 December 2009. Fence must be stained or painted. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
