Recommend casement or awning windows for lower level that would not need window wells at planter. Recommend use of lap wood siding rather than the proposed hardi plank siding to replace asbestos siding. Recommend double-hung windows at rear and operable wood shutters on front facade. Recommend resurfacing CMU wall along garden. File new submission of complete set of working drawings, including site plan; landscape plan; existing, demolition and proposed plans and elevations; sections, details and dimensions; and cut-sheets for wood windows, doors, siding and light fixtures, with permit application for review by the Commission.
