No objection to issuance of permit for proposed work on public space in coordination with new brick driveway for new garage structure (reviewed separately under case OG 11-198), including reduction on width of curb-cut and brick apron to match brick on sidewalk as shown in supplemental drawings dated 13 June 2011 which indicate hoop design for sliding gate to match fence detailing. Alterations to concrete driveway in front of house for new Recommend AGAINST brick pavers on existing driveway in front of house were not approved and were deleted from this permit application. Recommend returning front yard of house to a landscape setting which is more appropriate to the character of the house and the historic district. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
