No objection to issuance of permit for proposed new four-story building as shown in supplemental drawings dated 16 October and 22 October 2012 which indicate stone base with reaching stone lintels above head on basement windows on north facade and stepping down past the second window on west facade, vents relocated to roof where they are not visible, aluminum-clad casement windows with muntins with spacer bar, in-swing casement windows at basement unit, blind windows with 2 1/2 in. recess, roof hatch for access to roof, and no entrance from alley at rear. Mechanical equipment and dunnage on roof must not be visible from public thoroughfare. Lower roof must not be accessible. Erect a material sample panel on site facing south for review by the Old Georgetown Board prior to ordering materials. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
