No objection to concept design for proposed alterations, including replacement of wood fences on rear yard and relocation to property lines, brick and stone permeable terraces on sand and gravel base, and replacement of metal fence with a 6 foot high vertical wood board fence and gate. Request report from arborist on the impact of the alterations to the planter on the Magnolia tree and of the relocation of the fence on the Hickory tree. Recommend that applicant locate the new wood fence and gates closer to the front corner of the house to screen the vehicles parked on the driveway from public view. Note that The Foundation for the Preservation of Historic Georgetown holds an easement on this property. File new submission at DCRA of detailed and dimensioned drawings for all alterations with permit application for review by the Commission.
