The Commission regrets that the rear addition and the replacement windows on the front facade did not conform to the approved design (see OG 13-115). No objection to rear addition as built, provided that south party wall is parged. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations to rear, including reconstruction of walkway to easement, stairs to rear yard, and metal safety grate over window well. Existing windows on front facade do not conform to approved design and were not approved. Replace front windows on second floor with windows to match approved detailing with an all-wood insulated replacement window with true divided lite wood muntins 1 11/16 inches wide and sized to fit the masonry opening without any fillers or wider frames. Install sample window for review prior to ordering windows and no later than 28 February 2015. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
