At the beginning of its meeting on 17 September, the Commission of Fine Arts approved the revised concept for the rooftop enclosure at the Hay-Adams Hotel based on its review of the submission materials. Final approval for the project was delegated to the staff. The Commission noted that the project will be subject to review by the D.C. Historic Preservation Review Board.
