No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of a 14'–0" long section of chain link fence with no barbed wire in the rear yard of a restaurant, as shown in materials received and dated 6 June 2014, provided that the fence be no taller than 7'–0" high. Recommend that a new privacy fence and gates be added at the driveway along the 3rd Street, SE property line to provide visual screening of the dumpsters and mechanical equipment from the sidewalk while allowing service access. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
